OurClassHub is built for primary schools today. We are shaping the same platform for secondary schools, and we want secondary teachers and leaders in the room while we do.
What secondary schools need
Secondary life is different from a single-classroom day. This is what we are designing for.
Subject-based timetables
Many teachers, rooms and subjects per student, with changes and cover handled cleanly.
Subject gradebooks
Marks and grades per subject and teacher, rolling up into one report for each student.
Period-by-period attendance
Roll marking that follows the timetable instead of the morning register only.
Heads of year and department views
Leaders see the cohort or subject they are responsible for.
Older students, more independence
Student portals that suit teenagers, with families still kept in the loop.
Assessment with evidence
Assignments, rubrics and quizzes that support longer-form work.
The foundation is already here
The parts schools share, such as classes, attendance, the gradebook, assignments, notices, messages, the parent portal and role-based access, are the foundation we are building on. Secondary-specific features are on the roadmap, with no release date promised yet.
